Recent spill on a very greasy concrete bottomed ford crossing...…...got picked up and the direction indicator thumb shifter was gone, the stub not even bent. Short of paying £130 for a new switch (not happening....!) or sticking a wine cork on it (please not another 14% Shiraz....) has anyone got one lying around...….long shot I know. Cheers....hic...!
Hi David, the spare parts are very expensive in Germany, too, but what about buying them in Thailand? https://bikerzbits.com/indicator-winker-switch-assembly-35200-kzz-901.html Be advised that there are at least two different switch assemblies around; this one includes a hazard switch.
BikerBitz is very reputable...prices are a bit high for me, but these bikes are all built here...maybe I should make some contacts in Honda? Start my own supply company?
Well, let's take the cam chain tensioner for example. 14520KZZ901 is the parts number. Prices are in... ...Germany 107,25 EUR + 4,99 shipping ...USA 44,35 Dollar (24,39 EUR) + shipping ...England GBP 23,95 (via PayPal roughly 28 EUR) including shipping ...Thailand (Bikers Biz) 22,26 EUR including shipping. The price at Moto TH is 826 THB.
Nice! Moto TH is a good supplier for OEM parts. That said...looks like I can simply modify the original with a bolt and double nut set. Not a cool looking billet piece...haha.
