G'day everybody, my name is Michael, I'm living in a small town near Hanover, Germany and I just bought my CRF250L from a Lufthansa pilot. The 2014 bike has done only 952 kilometers and is as good as new. I purchased it a month ago and rode about 1200 kilometers on it by now. I added a SW Motech rack, phone console and frame protectors from Alibaba. But first of all, I replaced the shift lever to avoid damages. As there is no CRF250L board in Germany, I am happy to found crf250l.org to discuss everythinng about the bike.
Well, the bike is in a mint condition, so I'm not expecting any issues. On the other hand, I'd like to stay in contact with CRF riders from all over the world. The CRF is not very popular over here as most riders are looking for bikes like a BMW R1200 GS...they don't know what they are missing What about Australia?
Similar over here, crf L not popular, most ride ktm's WR"s, more hard core stuff. Adventure bikes even less popular but gaining momentum. I just want to cruz comfortably, so I have a CB500X as well and lucky to have great trails close by. I have upgraded the suspension and brakes but engine is stock.
I see. You made a lot of modifications; my own CRF is still close to stock but I'm going to add a few goodies in the future. This is what I'm dreaming about: View: https://youtu.be/OAqnj1ToKCg I'm 54 now, so I need to hurry up a little to let my dreams come true
Did stuff like that in cambodia a few years back. I love hills but just want a comfy bike so the crfl fits what I want goes everywhere. Had a beta 250 rr factory race 2015 model, amazing bike but more than I want to ride now.
