I've got a 2014 CRF 250M with the standard wheels and tyres.... Looking to change the tyres. Can any of you guys give me some ideas - possibly fitting wider tyres if that improves the handling... What sizes would you reccomend ? Any make of tyres worth considering ? Thanks in advance....
Hi. I'm using Bridgestone Batlax BT003R tires front and rear. 110/70-17 front 140/70-17 rear (These are/were the stock CBR250R sizes). IMO, going to a wider tire has no benefits, particularly on a stock bike. But I'm not an expert, so take that with salt.

Congratulations! That tire looks like it will be fun! I didn't realize the 140/70/17 is wider than stock on the 250m. It is the standard size on the 250r. I'm very happy with that size tire on my bike.
...Some piccies of the new tyres.....because the 140 rear looked a bit tight on the chain guard, got the tyre fitters to shave 2mm off.
