Hey all, Picked up a nice 2017 Rally a few weeks ago to complement my 2009 KLX250SF, and finally got to ride them both off road back to back( I have spare wheels/tires for the SF for off road and swap for SuperMoto in the spring). It was interesting to feel the differences. I'm new to off road have ~1000 miles over just 14 rides, sticking to forest/service roads. Nothing gnarly for me! I've been coaching for a few track day orgs and do have nearly 300k street and track miles under my belt across ~3 dozen bikes. This has been my first venture into off road riding with greeeeep!
