Paolo Pavesio To Replace Lin Jarvis As Managing Director Of Yamaha Motor Racing



Paolo Pavesio is to replace Lin Jarvis as Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, and head of the European arm of Yamaha's MotoGP project. Jarvis is to retire at the end of 2024, having spent 25 years leading Yamaha's grand prix racing program, first from Amsterdam in The Netherlands, later from Gerno di Lesmo, near Milan, Italy.

Like Jarvis, Pavesio comes from a marketing background. As head of marketing and motorsport, he led Yamaha to titles in WorldSBK, EWC, and MXGP.
