Traded in our CX-9 a few weeks ago, and now have a '14 MDX to tow around the kiddies and the bikes. The stock hitch is now a class III instead of a class II, which gives a little more capability. The ball mount that the car comes with was a little low, so I splurged on a more heavy-duty one that adds the right amount of lift that the trailer recommends. Sadly, needed to get a larger wrench to then install the ball, which ended up costing us more than the whole hitch setup. But tools are always a good investment, right?

This car has a 7-pin trailer hitch instead of the 4-pin I was used to. The way the wiring attaches doesn't feel as positive, but have now tried a few different 7-pin adapters, and they all seem to feel similar.

I know, lame! :) Here's an identical car, save for the dogs and the siderails.
