(Brake) Hey all, my rear brake was making a weird noise and when I went to check it I noticed the caliper had some play. Anyone else have issues with rubber sealed bolts? I'm not sure if there is a way to tighten it. Any suggestions or insights?

    brake pads not too worn?

    rotor bent?

    rear axle nut tightened?

    bad/ ruined rear wheel bearing?

does it always jiggle? like press the rear break pedal, then does it jiggle?

any of these things could cause that.

The bike has 2000 miles and was never taken off road. I only hear the noise when I am using the rear brake from 8mph to 0 mph. I don't think the rotor can be bent, given the bike was never off road and was never dropped. I will check to see if the rear axle nut is tightened. It is not the bearing given I only hear this under "Rear" braking.
Thank you for the insights! I may just use some break cleaner?

just cause a bike has only 2000 km and has never been offroad is irrelevant.

brake rotor could have easily been damaged in a parking lot or in shop.
bearing could also be faulty ( quality control is not prefect)
human error, axle not nut tight.

when you get a chance you should jiggle your wheel to see if there is any play ( there should be no pl;ay from side to side)

make sure all the bolts/nuts are tight. ( rotor bolts can come loose on any bike)
