Right rear tail light turn signal

Hey all,

So I found my tail light turn signal melted by the exhaust. The screw holding it in fell out and the light hung right in the way of the exhaust. Anyone replace turn signals with aftermarket? Or should I just spend the $60 on an oem?

If you did use LED aftermarket, was it plug and play? Or did you need an extra flasher unit?

 

Any chance it would still be under warranty?

 

I am in the process of calling them. It should be. The screw should have never fallen out in the first place

 

Mine vibrated the bolt out too, but I happened to spot it and had a similar bolt in my tin of bits - worth keeping an eye on these. Maybe undo and use a spot of loctite.
