    Hey guys and girls
I'm in the final stage preparing for a long term travel adventure - heading (far) east with my CRF 250 L.
I'm not sure whether or not to take a spare throttle cable with me (clutch cable I'll bring for sure). How often do those things brake down really?
    Any advice/experiences to share?
    Thanks!

It's not how often but when they fail that's important. Usually miles from anywhere, dark and raining. For the space and weight involved just attach to the bulb pack.

I've found that the best thing is to tape the spares to the working cables and they are in place in the event of failure, also they don't take any packing space this way
