    Bell RS-2


    The RS-2 is a Snell M2015 certified full-face helmet with excellent fit and finish. During Brandon’s in-depth review, he noted that the polycarbonate shell makes the helmet a bit heavier than you might expect, and that it tends to lift at highway speeds, but otherwise the RS-2 is a solid helmet and an excellent grab at $160.

    HJC RPHA 70 ST


    Brandon called the RPHA70 ST an excellent value in the sub-$400 segment, noting that the RPHA70 offers its wearer excellent ventilation, quality-of-life features, and a rigid PIM shell. It’s also better than most in terms of noise control, and the included anti-fog insert and internal sun visor make it feature-rich as well.

    Arai Defiant-X


    We have quote a lot of love for Arai, and not just because of their meticulous hand-made process. For as long as I can remember, Arai has been one of the few brands that set the standard by which the rest of the industry strives to measure up to. The Defiant-X is Snell M2015 certified, rings in at a hair over 3.5 lbs, and the fit can be easily customized via Arai’s Facial Contour System and removable cheek pads.

    Sena Momentum


    If you’re wanting a helmet with bluetooth intercom connectivity and you don’t feel like scrapping an intercom to the side of it (or paying a premium for a house-brand integrated unit), the Momentum series of helmets could be an interesting take. These full-face helmets offer all the usual modern feature sets in-addition to incorporating Sena’s intercom technology. While not a perfect helmet, the Momentum is a good blend of tech and price that many riders will appreciate.

It’s a great price at $250.
